Connecticut College president Katherine Bergeron has announced plans to resign from her position following a student protest calling for her to step down.

Connecticut College students are protesting after the dean of institutional equity and inclusion resigned after it was announced the president was going to attend a now-canceled fundraiser at the Everglades Club, which has historical ties to racism and antisemitism.
