Becoming the first New York governor to run for president since Nelson Rockefeller, former three-term Republican Governor George Pataki jumped into the race this morning in a YouTube campaign video before appearing in New Hampshire. Pataki served from 1995 through 2006 and has flirted with running for the White House in past elections. Pataki is a former Peekskill mayor and state Senator.
Pataki is scheduled to speak in Exeter, New Hampshire, which claims to be the birthplace of the Republican Party.
