Connecticut is currently number one in the Northeast and number six nationwide for the highest percentage of COVID-19 vaccines given, according to the Hartford Business Journal. As of Wednesday at noon, a total of 54,727 people received their first dose of the vaccine. The state is on track to administer both doses to frontline healthcare workers and nursing home residents by the end of January.
Congress has eliminated all funding for public media.
