Bringing a College Campus Downtown

The university of Connecticut is moving it’s “Greater Hartford” campus to downtown Hartford.  The move is being hailed as a key piece of revitalization for the city.  It’ll mean more young people downtown, spreading life, vibrancy, money? But does the downtown campus really bring these things - or are the students really just interested in getting to class and getting the heck out? We’ll talk to UCONN president Susan Herbst, and to people from Capital Community College - which moved downtown several years back. And another campus in the city is trying to change is hard-partying reputation, by forcing frats to go co-ed. We’ll explore big changes to Greek life coming to the Trinity College campus

Federal funding is gone.

Congress has eliminated all funding for public media.
