The Courant's Daniela Altimari reflects on Comptroller Kevin Lembo's legacy

Connecticut Comptroller Kevin Lembo has announced he's resigning due to a worsening heart condition.

The three-term incumbent leaves as one of only a handful of openly LGBTQ people elected to statewide office across the country.

But Daniela Altimari of the Hartford Courant says Lembo's should also be remembered for his record as a public servant.

She spoke on "All Things Considered."
