Eversource Energy, the former Northeast Utilities, has found itself placed last in a ranking for customer satisfaction.
In a survey carried out by a Michigan based company, American Customer Satisfaction Index, Eversource scored 66 out of 100 for customer satisfaction.
The industry average for investor-owned utility companies was 74. Eversource's own score in the same ranking last year was 71. The utility pointed to a sharp price spike at the beginning of this year as a possible source of customer discontent, but noted that those prices will fall July 1 of this year.
Praxair Nixes Headquarters Plan
The News Times is reporting that Praxair, the industrial gas supplier, has scrapped plans to build a new world headquarters in Danbury, despite receiving a $30 million incentive package from the state.
State officials told the paper the company has decided that building from scratch is too expensive, and it may now look into other options, although it's committed to remaining in Connecticut.

Chris Murphy and Richard Blumenthal were both among the Senate Democrats who voted to block a bill that would have given President Obama fast track authority to negotiate a controversial trade deal.
The legislation sought to remove congressional oversight of the Trans Pacific Partnership, a deal which aims to lower tariffs between 12 Pacific nations. Its opponents are concerned that it doesn't contain strong enough protections for American workers, and cedes important elements of U.S. sovereignty.
