Plus, we know Connecticut is in the midst of an opioid abuse crisis. We check in with WNPR’s Digital Reporter Ryan Caron King. He has an update on a story he reported this summer about a Hartford man who used heroin for more than 50 years.

But it may be time to get back on the healthy train because new guidelines recommend 40-year-olds with certain risk factors should start taking cholesterol lowering drugs. We sit down with a cardiologist who tells us more.
