What is the future of higher education?
This hour, we preview an upcoming Connecticut Forum with one of the forum panelists -- Dr. Freeman Hrabowski, III. The President of the University of Maryland Baltimore County tells us how his school encourages diversity and innovation.
Plus, we know Connecticut is in the midst of an opioid abuse crisis. We check in with WNPR’s Digital Reporter Ryan Caron King. He has an update on a story he reported this summer about a Hartford man who used heroin for more than 50 years.
And later, we know it's right after the Thanksgiving weekend when food -- lots of it -- took center stage. But it may be time to get back on the healthy train because new guidelines recommend 40-year-olds with certain risk factors should start taking cholesterol lowering drugs. We sit down with a cardiologist who tells us more.
