Bill Cosby's trial for alleged sexual assault of Andrea Constand in 2004 ended in a mistrial Saturday due to a hung jury. Despite the judge saying this was not a win for either side, Mr. Cosby's spokesperson declared, "Mr. Cosby's power is back!"
It's understandable they would think that; for most of America's history, women's allegations of sexual assault were not to be believed - even when men stated something as true that was clearly a lie.
The investigation into whether the Trump Administration colluded with Russia to interfere with the election is coming at a time when Russia is ramping up there efforts to destabilize the U.S. Russian hackers didn't just infiltrate the email system of the Democratic National Committee. Last week we learned Russia's cyberattack on the U.S. electoral system hit systems in thirty-nine states in an attack far greater than publicly revealed. Now, they have developed a cyber-weapon that can disrupt power grids that they already tested in Ukraine. Are we next?
Lastly, President Trump's policy on Cuba is a bad idea for America.
