Animal rights activists have named this cat William Curry, after Connecticut's beloved former comptroller and gubernatorial candidate.
Here is what we know about it, via Julie Lewin of the National Institute For Animal Advocacy:
Lovebug "William Curry" needs a politically compatible home. He'd been in the cold for at least a year before being rescued in Bristol. Sweet, gentle, cuddly, handsome and distinguished--just like William Curry the man! Neutered (unlike his namesake), healthy, probably 3 or 4 years old, 12 pounds. Astute and progressive, excellent company while you watch the Daily Show or listen to NPR. William gets along with female cats but is aggressive with males.
Obviously, there are many things we could say about all of the foregoing. Or you could just write your own jokes.
