Michigan is not the only state with a water crisis on its hands. Right now, communities in New York, New Hampshire, and Vermont are grappling with their own water contamination challenges. It’s just that for these states, the problem does not stem from corrosive water or aging lead pipes, but from a toxic chemical known as PFOA.
This hour, we sit down with a team of reporters who’ve been following PFOA contamination across the region. They tell us what it is, where it came from, and what’s being done to remediate it.
We also consider what the recent Brexit vote means for Connecticut’s business economy and for Scotland -- the birthplace of WNPR reporter Harriet Jones.
