The End of Gadhafi

Moammar Gadhafi was killed today. The former libyan leader held on to power for nearly 42 years in the North African country, supporting global terrorism and terrorizing the people of Libya. Dr. Abubaker Saad should know, the history professor at Western Connecticut State University worked as a diplomat for the Libyan monarchy, and was recruited to be Gadhafi's personal interpreter after he took power. Saad worked next to the dictator for 9 years until Saad fled the country after taking part in a plot against Gadhafi that was foiled.

Federal funding is gone.

Congress has eliminated all funding for public media.

That means $2.1 million per year that Connecticut Public relied on to deliver you news, information, and entertainment programs you enjoyed is gone.
