With two major holidays falling on Wednesdays, it seems like forever since our weekly news roundtable, The Wheelhouse has gotten together. Well, we’re back with a New Year’s edition - where we start looking ahead to the 2014 campaigns.

We also look back at some memorable campaigns won by Tom D'Amore who died this week. He ran several of Lowell Weicker's campaigns for governor and senate. Weicker joins us to remember his friend.

GUESTS:

  • Colin McEnroe - Host of The Colin McEnroe Show on WNPR
  • Mark Pazniokas - Capitol bureau chief for the Connecticut Mirror
  • Daniela Altimari - Statehouse reporter for the Hartford Courant
  • Lowell Weicker - Connecticut's former governor and U.S. senator
  • Ned Lamont - Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate in 2006
  • Matt Flegenheimer - Reporter for The New York Times
