New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is making headlines once again.
Just a few weeks ago, he vetoed a bill that would have restricted the size of gun magazines from 15 rounds to 10. The decision angered a number of gun control advocates, including some Sandy Hook parents.
This hour, we hear from a Sandy Hook mother who’s been outspoken on Christie’s handling of the proposed legislation. We also talk to some reporters who’ve been following the story, and get the latest on Christie’s controversial visit to Connecticut earlier this week.
Later, local Ukrainian American Roksolana Luchkan joins us to share a personal account of the conflict in Ukraine, and its impact on her family living there.
