Attorney General - and former Senator - Jeff Sessions has spent more time on Capitol Hill than he’d like over the last few months, again facing tough questioning about what he did and didn’t know about contacts between Russia and the Trump campaign he was a part of.
He’s also facing pressure from his boss and other Republicans to investigate Hillary Clinton’s State Department, and what conservative media is painting as a scandal over a uranium deal.
Oh, and there’s Roy Moore, who’s running for Sessions’s old seat - facing multiple accusations by women over inappropriate sexual contact with them when they were minors, and calls from leading Republicans to drop out of the race.
Even though it seems that Alabama’s in the center of the political world today, we’re still in Connecticut. So we’ll also talk about the Connecticut Supreme Court hearing arguments in the lawsuit by Sandy Hook parents against a gun maker.
