Hartford Courant: Connecticut Voter Registration Hits All-Time High Ahead of Election Day - "Since Election Day 2016, Connecticut has registered 322,742 new voters, according to the secretary of the state’s office. That total far surpasses similar periods and is more than three times higher than the 96,331 new voters who registered between President Barack Obama’s 2008 victory and the 2010 midterm elections."

Meriden Record-Journal: Merrill says vote challenges 'should not be made lightly’ - "Merrill, whose office oversees state election laws, has been informing registrars that they have the ability to grant or deny requests for challengers. Challengers, if appointed, are allowed by state law to “challenge the right of any person offering to vote” based on specific grounds."
