Southwestern Connecticut Congressman Completes 80-mile Bicycle Tour of Connecticut

Southwestern Connecticut Congressman Jim Himes took a bicycle tour from Westport's Compo beach in the fourth district, north to the Massachusetts State Line on Friday.

Himes says he pedaled the 80-miles in part to draw attention to an infrastructure proposal moving through Congress.

Himes says the bipartisan bill includes money for safer roads for drivers as well as people on foot or on bicycles.
