Saxophonist Jimmy Greene and Wife Remember Daughter's "Beautiful Life"
It’s been three years since saxophonist Jimmy Greene lost his six-year-old daughter, Ana, in the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School. On his album, Beautiful Life, Greene memorializes his little girl. It was recently nominated for two Grammy Awards.
This hour, Greene and his wife, Nelba, join us to talk about and share some songs from the album. We learn about the music that's helped them through this difficult time, and reflect on the life of their daughter -- a young girl full of love, hope, and spirit.
