The Year-in-Review Letter, Kids-Style

In December, many families send out annual update letters to all their friends. It's a way to let everyone know who got a new car, who finally retired after 40 years at the same company, who finished kindergarten. Generally, parents write these letters.

But Jeff Horwich of Minnesota Public Radio wanted to ask some children what they would include in their year-end summary, so he visited the third grade at Adams Spanish Immersion school in St. Paul to ask the students about the highlights of their year.

Congress has eliminated all funding for public media.

That means $2.1 million per year that Connecticut Public relied on to deliver you news, information, and entertainment programs you enjoyed is gone.

The future of public media is in your hands.

All donations are appreciated, but we ask in this moment you consider starting a monthly gift as a Sustainer to help replace what’s been lost.
