Covid-19 Cases Rising In Connecticut

Connecticut has recorded 218 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours. The state's positivity rate is now 2.71%. The Hartford Courant reports that positivity rate tends to be higher on Tuesdays due to testing patterns. Hospitalizations have increased by 4 to 54 patients. And hospital officials tell the Courant most patients who are severely ill have not been vaccinated.

Federal funding is gone.

Congress has eliminated all funding for public media.
