*NSYNC's new song 'Better Place' is on the Billboard Hot 100

(SOUNDBITE OF SONG, "BETTER PLACE")

NSYNC: (Singing) Just let me take you to a better place.

STEVE INSKEEP, HOST:

Good morning. I'm Steve Inskeep. The members of the band NSYNC are in a better place than they've been in a couple of decades. Their new song, "Better Place," is on the Billboard Hot 100, the first time they've made the charts in more than 20 years. This song was written for the upcoming animated movie "Trolls Band Together," which just happens to star Justin Timberlake, a man who could never be trusted to say bye, bye, bye to his old band. It's MORNING EDITION. Transcript provided by NPR, Copyright NPR.
