Are Stock Market Fears Justified?

Recently Yale economist Robert Shillersaid in an essay in The New York Times that no one can say for certain what the stock market drop means. He did, however, say we'd all be right to exercise great caution now.

Caution would not be new to investors who have understood for some time that a market correction was due, meaning a significant drop. For the past year our show's financial analysts, the Kreitlers, have championed an extremely diversified portfolio to hedge against market turmoil.

This hour, Bob and Charlie Kreitler interpret the market's roller coaster ride, and explain what a diversified portfolio looks like. The biggest fear, of course, is that we face a crash like the 1980s. How likely is that? How will the Fed change things if it raises rates, which it will do at some point?
