OAKDALE, Conn. —- Raymond Library is holding its first ever Pirate festival and fundraiser. The Pirate FundFest will take place at the Camp Oakdale Pavilion, 866 CT-163, Oakdale, CT 06370 on Saturday, September 24th from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Admission to the festival is FREE!

Activities will include a special author visit from Katie Carroll, author of Pirate Island, at 11:30am; weapons demonstrations and sea shanties by Free Men of the Sea; a display of pirate artifacts; a photo booth; crafts; Wicked Wieners Food Truck; and much more.

Come dressed in your best pirate garb and get ready for a swashbuckling day of fun!
