Minor A 'Person Of Interest' In Strangulation Of 13-Year-Old In Manchester

The death of a 13-year-old girl found strangled in Manchester has been ruled a homicide. Zaniya Wright's body was found in the basement of an apartment complex on Olcott Street Friday. The Hartford Courant reports that the seventh grader had been left in the care of a friend who lives in the apartment complex. Police said they have identified a minor as a person of interest in the case, but no charges had yet been filed.
