Gov. Malloy delivers his State of the State address in 2013.

Governor Dan Malloy delivers his "State of the State" address Wednesday as the legislature reconvenes for this year's regular session. The state budget deficit looms large over the capitol and deep cuts throughout government are expected. The session also starts in the wake of high-profile corporations testing the waters of relocation to other states.

This hour, our weekly news roundtable The Wheelhouse previews the session and recaps the official launch of presidential primary season, which led to the end for some campaigns. Are you a Martin O'Malley supporter looking for a new candidate to back?

GUESTS:

  • Dan Haar - Columnist for The Hartford Courant
  • Harriet Jones - WNPR's business editor and reporter
  • Lucy Gellman - Reporter for the New Haven Independent and station manager at WNHH
