The Blizzard of '78

51m 19s

February 6, 1978, started out as just another day in Connecticut. But by midday, the Blizzard of 1978 hit with 15 to 30 inches of snow, bone-chilling temperatures, wind gusts of up to 70 miles per hour and snowdrifts as high as 16 feet, and many residents found themselves stranded or in danger. Through home movies, photos and local news footage, this documentary explores that harrowing time.
