The underdog Detroit Pistons surprised the Los Angeles Lakers Thursday night to take a 2-to-1 lead in the best-of-seven series. Plaschke is not surprised that the favored Lakers are in a hole -- the sports truism that the best team wins is holding, he says, and the Pistons are playing like a team while the Lakers are not.
