California, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania have been added to the state’s travel advisory list. That brings the total number of states and territories considered hot spots for the virus to 42.
New Jersey and Rhode Island also meet the criteria for the advisory, but Gov. Ned Lamont says given the interconnected nature of the region, they will not be included on the list. Officials are discouraging all nonessential travel to limit the spread of the virus.
