Western Wildfires Impacting Connecticut Air Quality

The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection has issued an air quality warning for tonight due to the western wildfires. Fine particles from the fires have reached New England and can cause breathing problems for some people. The state is advising anyone with heart or lung issues to avoid strenuous outdoor activities. The warning also applies to older adults, children and teens.
