Disrupted is a talk show about the changes in society. We cover big national stories and lesser-known local ones. In this interview, our host, Khalilah Brown-Dean, spoke with a woman named Helen Caraballo. She was waiting to have her record expunged by Connecticut’s Clean Slate program, which clears the records of people with certain convictions. The program’s start faced delays that made Helen’s life more difficult. Helen’s record was eventually expunged, but not before this interview aired.
