Northeast Colleges Called On to Help Mitigate COVID Spread

Governor Ned Lamont joined several other Northeast governors in asking colleges to help mitigate COVID spread as many students head home for the holidays. Colleges are encouraged to provide testing for students before they depart and ask students to quarantine on campus if they test positive. In addition, colleges are urged to consider remote learning for the rest of the semester. In the event students return to campus, testing and strict COVID protocols should be in place.
