An Internet connection touted to be the fastest on the market is coming to Connecticut for the first time.
Specifically, East Hartford will serve as a fiber-optic Hub for the new broadband connection, thanks to a $40 million dollar private investment.
Marcia LeClerc is the Mayor of East Hartford.
She joined "All Things Considered" to talk about how the deal came together and what it means for the people of East Hartford.
Congress has eliminated all funding for public media.
