Clinton's "Clinch" and a Second Chance Fails for "Second Chance"

Hillary Clinton was declared the winner of the Democratic presidential nomination on the eve of California's primary.

The Associated Press said Hillary Clinton "clinched" the Democratic nomination for president on Monday. The Bernie Sanders campaign and supporters weren't happy. "Let those people vote and decide before the media tells them that the race is over," Sanders' campaign manager Jeff Weaved told CNN. Should the A.P. have waited until after Tuesday's final big primary day?

Meanwhile, Gov. Dannel Malloy's much touted criminal justice reforms don't make it out of the "prison" that is the special legislative session. And is it time for the labor unions and Democrats in Connecticut to get some marriage counseling?
