It's going to be a long fight leading up to Election Day, based on newly released campaign fundraising totals in Connecticut's race for governor and the Republican Governors Association's plan to reserve $1.7 million for television ads in the contest.

Watch the live recording of today's show on our Facebook page or just scroll down.

Today we examine the pre-convention maneuvering by candidates seeking the state's highest office, as well as the wide open Fifth Congressional District race where State Rep. William Petit, whose family was murdered during a 2007 home invasion, and two parents who lost children in the Sandy Hook school shooting, are among those weighing a run.

And we look at the latest storm to hit Washington, D.C.--the FBI raid of the office and hotel room of President Trump's longtime personal attorney, Michael Cohen.
