Ned Lamont has been waiting for this day for a particularly long time.
Our next governor may slip in a few new details about his specific policy goals after he takes the oath of office on Wednesday. But Inauguration Day will mostly be a time for Lamont to set the tone of his forthcoming administration.
And Lamont is promising that tone will include a strong dose of fiscal reality peppered generously with some much-needed optimism over Connecticut's future. But beyond the pep rally nature and pomp of it all, what other points does our 89th governor need to hit to get off to a good start?
This week, we'll also address President Donald Trump's unrelenting push for a border wall, which he reaffirmed Tuesday night on primetime television.
