We like to gather at fun places, and this week was no exception: we met in Milford to check out the newly opened Plan B Burger Bar. The food, the people and and the atmosphere are all amazing ... and Plan B also happens to be a kind supporter of Connecticut Public Broadcasting!

Our guest conversationalists included Lena DiGenti from Plan B, as well as Danyel Aversenti, the energy behind Our Empty Space, a company focused on filling empty storefronts with temporary retail, art shows and events, Josh Sapire, a physician with Advanced Radiology Consultants, and Gaye Hyre, organizer of the recent ArtBra New Haven benefit for the Breast Center at Smilow Cancer Hospital.

We talked about High mindedness, mass appeal, and therapy.

Is there anything in the episode you'd like to explore in greater detail? Feel free to tell us in the Comments!

Federal funding is gone.

Congress has eliminated all funding for public media.

That means $2.1 million per year that Connecticut Public relied on to deliver you news, information, and entertainment programs you enjoyed is gone.

The future of public media is in your hands.

All donations are appreciated, but we ask in this moment you consider starting a monthly gift as a Sustainer to help replace what’s been lost.
