The state of Connecticut says the selling of recreational marijuana will be legal here in 2022. But some cities and towns are already getting a head start on making marijuana sales within their borders illegal. One such town is Avon, which passed its own marijuana sales ban this week. Hiram Peck, Avon’s director of Planning and Community Development, explained why on All Things Considered.
