On Tuesday, Brazil faces Germany in a World Cup semifinal match. For thousands of Brazilians living in Danbury, the game is a chance to gather, eat barbeque, and cheer on their native team.

"I miss Brazil every day, but when it's the World Cup, that's when I most miss my country," said Aga Braga, a Brazilian living in Danbury. "I'm going to be home with my friends, eating barbeque. After the game is done, if we win -- of course we are going to win -- we will go to Main Street."

It is expected that if Brazil wins, hundreds of soccer fans will converge on Main Street in Danbury for an impromptu celebration.

Earlier on Monday, Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton tweeted that he'll have eleven police officers on duty to manage the celebrations.

According to the U.S. Census, Danbury has the third-largest community of Brazilians in the U.S.
