UConn-Villanova Match Up Postponed

The University of Connecticut’s Men’s Basketball team's big game coming up against Villanova University has been postponed.

The Huskies game with the Wildcats was supposed to highlight its return to the Big East conference. But that game scheduled for next Friday in Storrs has been put on ice for COVID-19 related reasons. A UConn spokesperson says it’s on the Villanova side.

The two are scheduled to play on February 20 in Pennsylvania – but this season, nothing is certain. It marks the seventh such schedule adjustment for UConn. And the women’s team is going through something similar – it’s big matchup with Baylor University scheduled for January 7 was canceled.
