The governor has scheduled a special election to replace a state lawmaker who resigned.
Voters will go to the polls in West Haven, and part of New Haven on December 14.
They will pick a replacement for state Representative Michael DiMassa.
He quit after being accused of defrauding the city of West Haven out of $600,000 in federal pandemic funding.
DiMassa faces federal fraud charges.
Congress has eliminated all funding for public media.
