Connecticut Leaders Respond to Incidents of Hate

Hate crimes and incidents of intimidation and harassment have increased across our nation, including here in Connecticut.

This hour, we speak with Connecticut's U.S. Attorney Deirdre Daly about a letter she wrote to the community urging residents to speak up and report these incidents.

We ask her to explain what a hate crime is and we dig into the latest statistics from the FBI.

Later, we sit down with community leaders including a school principal to find out how they are responding to local incidents of harassment and intimidation.

Have you been affected by a hate crime or intimidation in your community? Has this behavior gotten worse post-election or has it always been in our communities?
