While they've been quietly lifting protections on endangered animals, opening up habitats for drilling, and changing standards for the treatment of farm animals, we've been rightfully focused on the floods, fires, storms, and wildly fluctuating temperatures that signal climate change is becoming a terrifying reality.
Yet, the health of our species is deeply intertwined with the health of other animal species.
