While basketball didn’t take up residence in the White House in January 2009, the game nonetheless played an outsized role in forming the man who did, according to Sports Illustrated’s Alexander Wolff, author of The Audacity of Hoop: Basketball and the Age of Obama.
This hour, Wolff joins us to look at Barack Obama, the person and the president, through the lens of basketball.
And we’ll look at basketball through the lens of the Obama presidency with NBA and NCAA great Jamaal Wilkes and Yale forward (and former Whiffenpoof) Brandon Sherrod.
