COVID-19 Scratches Former UConn Star From Olympics

Former UConn women's basketball star Katie Lou Samuelson will not get to compete in 3-on-3 basketball at the Olympics.

USA Basketball made the announcement today.

In a message on social media, Samuelson said she got sick with coronavirus.

She wrote that she is devastated that she will not be able to compete in Tokyo.

Samuelson said she was fully vaccinated, and taking precautions.
