The history of mazes and labyrinths spans thousands of years. From Bronze Age stone carvings, to Medieval gardens, to modern-day laboratories, these elaborate designs continue to be used for a variety of reasons and in some surprising places.
This hour we discuss the history, purpose and design of mazes and labyrinths, while trying not to get lost along the way. We'll also discuss the current revival of these structures and examine how they're being used in schools, hospitals and even prisons.
