LISTEN: 5th District's Jahana Hayes On COVID-19 In Her Family

On Thursday, we learned that the husband of 5th District Rep. Jahana Hayes was dealing with the effects of COVID-19 and that the family would self-quarantine for two weeks. The congresswoman joined John Henry Smith on All Things Considered to talk about how she and her family are doing.

Hayes also shared her thoughts on whether Congress should reconvene in Washington, what must be done to accommodate our children’s educational needs during and after the pandemic and why people of color are suffering disproportionately from COVID-19.
