Connecticut Air Quality Reaches Unhealthy Levels Due To Western Wildfires

The air quality in the Northwestern part of the state will be at unhealthy levels Monday night due to ongoing western wildfires. The State Department of Energy and Environmental Protections said elevated levels of fine particles could also reach unhealthy levels for sensitive groups in other areas of the state including portions of Harford, Fairfield County and Windham County. DEEP encourages residents to limit outdoor activities.
