Francesca Fontanez

Francesca Fontánez is one of Connecticut Public’s Social Media Editors. Her many passions include content creation, social justice, theater, education, and music. After receiving dual degrees in English and Communications, and a Masters in English Education, and a brief stint as a middle school teacher, she followed her heart to the field of media.

When she's not working on the latest Connecticut Public social posts, she can be found tinkering away at a new musical script, working on music for her band, Cessa and The Zach, or exploring Connecticut and the East Coast for her lifestyle blog (@east_side_vibes_ on Instagram and Tiktok).
